Holiday Party Announcement
One of the recommendations made over the past months was to incorporate more social activities into the Chapter. So, at your request, we’re having a Holiday Party in lieu of a business meeting in December.
Join us Wednesday, December 10th at the
Pyramid Ale House
in
Free food, free drinks (at least the first two!) and lots of free parking.
Guests, colleagues, anyone whom you think would benefit from knowing us – all are welcome.

Our October program consisted of helpful hints, useful tools and items our members have found they cannot live without when doing a study. Below are some of the highlights. See the meeting minutes for a full listing and links.
Getting there – noise-cancelling headphones or earplugs; water; adhesive heat packs; Amazon’s Kindle; Victorinix Swiss Army wheeled carry-on bag with removable laptop pocket; and, any sort of GPS unit available.
Once there – IBM ThinkPad; InFocus ultra compact projector; portable document camera; iGo universal adapter; rechargeable solar battery charger; and, mini-surge protectors.
Making connections – GoToMeeting for virtual meetings; Box.net for document sharing; and, GoToMyPC for access to the home computer.
